About Me

My photo
Michael Holdsworth
Match going sports fan, mainly football (soccer to you non-Europeans), cricket and rugby league. Used to follow Manchester United home, away and abroad, now co-own and watch FC United of Manchester home and away instead due to the Glazers and the general state of modern football. Member and home and away supporter of Lancashire County Cricket Club. Home and away season ticket holder at Salford City Reds Rugby League Football Club. Still attend the odd MUFC reserve and youth fixture. Often found on a train to some random place to watch a match. Bit of a ground hopper.

Enjoy taking photos and occasionally come up with a half-decent snap. Real ale drinker, gig attendee and prone to going out to explore somewhere new for the sake of it.

I am a bit of a video game and science fiction geek.

Also very political, positioned to the left. Socialist at heart. Co-operator and advocate of mutualism. Member of both the Co-operative Party and Labour. Member of the GMB. Antifascist.

You can see my photos on Flickr and I'm on Twitter here.
